Red Pepper & Hummus Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 50 whole wheat sub rolls, Rich's® brand, cut in half lengthwise
  • 2.5 containers Sabra® Classic hummus (33115)
  • 3 quarts + .5 c roasted red pepper (or bell peppers)
  • 1 c. + .5 Tbsp. dried oregano leaves
  • 12 lbs + 8 oz. Sargento® low sodium mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 (#10 cans) + 1 cup USDA spaghetti sauce, low sodium (110177) 

Directions

  1. Roast and cut peppers into strips
  2. Cut subs and place with the interior facing up
  3. Spread 1/4 cup hummus on each side
  4. Top hummus with 1/2 cup roasted peppers on each side
  5. Cover with 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese on each and sprinkle with seasoning
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 5-8 minutes until top of cheese is toasted
  7. Serve 1⁄2 sub roll
