Taco Pizza

Ingredients

  • 6 lbs. + 4 oz. USDA cooked ground beef (100158)
  • 6 lbs + 4 oz. USDA RF shredded yellow cheese (100012)
  • 2 # 10 cans USDA Refried Beans (100362)
  • 1 #10 can USDA low sodium salsa (100330)
  • 5 packages Taco Seasoning
  • 5 cups + 8 oz. water
  • 1 1/2 Gal + 1 c. each:   chopped tomatoes and chopped romaine lettuce
  • 10 – 16” whole grain pizza crusts – Rich’s
  • 50 oz. Baked Tostitos Scoops – coarsely crushed 

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef thoroughly.   Add taco seasoning and  water.  Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
  2. Place crusts on ungreased cooking sheets.  Spread 2 ½ c. refried beans on each crust.  Add ground beef, salsa, tomatoes and cheese.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 13-16 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  4. Top with shredded lettuce and coarsely crushed Baked! Tostitos Scoops
